Resources for my SOC and CRM Students

Welcome to my resource page for Sociology and Criminology students.  I've assembled a few key pieces of information that will help you along during the term.  You may choose to bookmark this site for future reference.

Materials

Every semester, I use a series of documents, videos and other media in my courses.  You will access these via Blackboard on the SUNY Cortland site.  You can access Blackboard via myRedDragon using your provided login.

Contact Me

You can reach me using the email addresses provided in your syllabus, or use the handy online contact form on this site. As always, I hold "mini office hours" before and after each class in addition to my posted hours.

Current Events

As part of the typical current events assignments I give, you may choose to dig into some of the Sociology resources I've assembled.  These sites feature news, commentary and various types of media.

Campus Support

All students struggle at some point in their academic careers. Rest assured that you are not alone on campus, and know that help and support is here for you.  I've assembled some of the campus resources that might be useful to you, but there are many other services available on the Cortland site.

Sociology & Anthropology Department

The Sociology & Anthropology department offers several services to students considering a major in sociology, anthropology, archaeology or criminology.  Check out our web site to learn more about career options, the programs we offer, and our faculty and staff members.
