Fully peer-reviewed sociology papers looking at current issues. A purely online journal, Sociological Research Online makes use of new media and reach a wide and international readership. The journal also publishes special sections and rapid response articles, which address key issues in the public arena.

Journal of Sociology is the official journal of The Australian Sociological Association. It carries peer refereed articles of sociological research and theory on issues of interest to Australian sociology and aims to promote dialogue and exchange between Australian sociologists and the international community of sociology.

Cybersociology Magazine was launched on 10 October 1997 as a forum for the cross-disciplinary academic discussion of life online. It ran for approximately two years, until 01 September 1999.

The CDDC provides one of the world's first university based digital points-of-publication for new forms of scholarly communication, academic research, and cultural analysis. At the same time, it supports the continuation of traditional research practices, including scholarly peer review, academic freedom, network formation, and intellectual experimentation as part of IDDL's support of the University's research mission.
